The Colors of Marketing

We aren’t just talking blues and blacks here. Brands, logo’s and products with unique coloration have been scientifically proven to increase attention spans, memorability, and brand identity.

Seems like common sense… add color to be more aesthetically pleasing. But what you might not know is that in some research, people make judgments (subconsciously) about the environment, a person, and a product in less than 90 seconds. And 62% to 90% is based on color alone! (Source: CCICOLOR – Institute for Color Research)

That’s not all. In a study from the University of Loyala, it was tested that color increases brand recognition by up to 80%!

And at the Seoul International Color Expo (2004), it was found that 92.6% of customers value visual factors most important when purchasing products.
