So what is Seattle Video Production? What’s the culture, the style, how does it effect the way we work? Is there a benefit to shooting, producing, editing in Seattle, besides cheap rain?
Well Random Original certainly can’t speak for everyone, but we feel there is a benefit to working in and outside of LA and when outside of LA, Seattle is a hard place to beat. Obviously we love LA, the culture, the pace, the weather just spring to mind. It’s one of the reasons we have an office in LA with Producers and Account Executives working there year round.
But Seattle is defiantly different. The stories the people want to tell are different, film festival are run differently and what people consider important is different.
So where does that leave Random Original? I believe we are like a bridge, that connects the two cultures, linking the creative, production, post and talent together to tell amazing stories. So that make you laugh and some that make you cry. We believe when we are able to connect both cultures, styles and talent, we are able to make something far superior then what could be made in isolation.
Seattle Video Production I believe will always have its own unique style, that at different points in time the world will crave. We feel fortunate to be connected to such a creative community of producers, crew and talent.
Is Random Original synonymous with Seattle Video Production? I wouldn’t say that, but we feel we are obviously leaving our mark. But their are great companies, many of who we have worked with, who have been here long before we came, who have help shaped what the culture of video production in Seattle is, we look forward in at least some small way helping shape what Seattle Video Production will be in the future.
