The Driod Pro – What Does This Teach Us?

Well the picture above is a Motorola Droid Pro.  And you know what? I’ve never used a Blackberry before, It’s not something I go around telling people or bragging about, its just a small fact that I’m a person with limited real time hands on experience with a Blackberry, but even I can say, Jezzy Crezzy that sure looks like a Blackberry.

So why would Motorola invest the time and energy into producing what for all tents and purposes could be considered a copy cat product, with the standard “me to!” dilemma.

The Motorola Droid Pro has the Andriod (Google OS) on it.  Which has been grabbing lots of market share, thanks in parts to its devices with large screens and faster processors. So if your winning why producer a basically the exact opposite of what its appear customers are demanding and something the market is already saturated with. Small screen, slide keyboard underneath phones.

Its simple, change is hard.  Many people hate change, pretty sure their is even a fun phobia word about it.  So to lesson the change issue of coming over to the Andriod OS (which can be a little hard at first) Motorola is going to make it super easy and comfortable for a lot of people with the Droid Pro.

So how should they market the Droid Pro?  Well we at Random Original have some ideas about that.  But that will be for another blog posting!
