Winding down a grassy mountain or blasting from 0 to 60mph, we are bombarded with car commercials telling us what we want.
These commercials are great to show how certain cars can perform but how many times do you need to go that fast within seconds? Or how many times have you wondered, “I wish my car had better maneuverability around this corner in New Zealand”.
Advertisements are all over the map for automobiles as they target big brawny men in huge trucks lifting obscene amounts of material across a mountain or in contrast the safety features that a soccer mom would love in her new “do everything” SUV.
Here’s an idea. If we really want to target a way for consumers to buy these cars we have to create a relationship out of it.
Not quite sure if this logic works but watch these commercials and see how a relationship with a vehicle can alter the way you drive. Or at least… that’s what dealerships want you drive.
Hit your customers on an emotional level either with laughter, personality, or just general uniqueness. Guess who can do this for you… *wink wink, nudge nudge*.
